Welcome
This is my home in cyberspace. While it fulfills a course requirement, it also replaces a former site that was closed when Apple terminated the me.com sites. I hope this site will be where I:
+ assemble information, resources and news related to educational robotics and other learning technologies
+ exchange resources with other teachers and learners
+ document and explore my doctoral journey
+ share what I learn in professional development opportunities
I am trying some new things. In my Blog, it is presently focussed on sharing what I learn in professional development activities. The first entries are related to a Hands on Literacy conference I attended. I made notes in the conference and later created blog entries. This enabled me to reflect on what I learned and how it might benefit me. On the other hand, I would like to try bogging during a session. I might try that in Hong Kong in January.
During the HOL conference, I was introduced to paper.li and scoop.it, though I'd heard of them before. I am still tinkering with the settings, but I've set an example of each up now. Below, is a link to a paper.li on educational robotics news and to a scoop.it on iPad use in early childhood education.
